Overview

DevTech is recruiting a Senior Project Director to lead activities under the US Department of Labor’s Office of Job Corps (OJC) Data Integrity, Research, and Evaluation contract. Job Corps delivers comprehensive career development and training services to youth throughout the United States to help address multiple and varied barriers to employment. This contract will provide support to OJC projects and initiatives relating to policy recommendations, data systems and management, data integrity auditing, data reporting, data collection and statistical analysis, risk management, and other on-demand research, evaluation, and technical assistance. Position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

Responsible for successful performance of all contract activities.
• Oversee, manage, and task staff to ensure completion of high-quality technical products in adherence to client schedules.
• Provide expert technical guidance over activities that support OJC programs fulfil performance accountability and integrity requirements, including:
o Performance and accountability systems and policies
o Performance data analysis, and reporting
o Data visualization
o Data integrity audits
o Risk management
o Data collection, including surveys
o Additional, on-demand research, evaluation, and technical assistance
o Technology support for collecting, processing, and reporting data
• Maintain clear lines of communication and consistent flow of information with DevTech Home Office staff, including the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning.
• In collaboration with DevTech Home Office staff, establish productive and positive relationships with OJC officials to support contract objectives.


The position may require on-site presence at U.S. Department of Labor headquarters in Washington, D.C. and DevTech Systems' home office in Arlington, VA. Travel to project sites around the country is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, political science, public administration, statistics, economics, or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of verifiable experience in policy analysis, program evaluation, research, data integrity audits, and statistical and data analyses.
• Exceptional communication skills, through both digital and written mediums.
• Strong track record successfully managing teams to deliver policy recommendations, data analytics, research, and technical assistance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data visualization and analytical tools, such as Tableau, SAS, Voxco (or similar survey software).
• Experience working with the U.S. Government, particularly the Department of Labor, is preferred.
