DevTech is on the lookout for a dynamic Facilitator/Trainer to join our ranks. As part of our team, you'll design, develop, and lead training programs that inspire a diverse range of stakeholders. This isn't just about running workshops—it's about making a difference in the world through education and collaboration.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Design & Deliver: Craft engaging, interactive training sessions and workshops that captivate participants, both in-person and virtually.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Work with donors, US Government representatives, local officials, civil society groups, and NGOs to ensure your training hits the mark.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Partner with subject matter experts to create relevant and impactful training materials.
  • Measure Impact: Gather feedback, evaluate training effectiveness, and continuously improve your programs.
  • Stay Current: Keep up with the latest industry trends to bring fresh ideas and methodologies to our training programs.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Education & Experience: A Master’s degree in international relations or a related field, plus at least 5 years of experience in training, facilitation, or instructional design. Prior experience in international development is a big plus!
  • Exceptional Communication: You're a natural communicator with strong presentation and public speaking skills, able to engage and inspire audiences of all backgrounds.
  • Proven Track Record: You've designed and delivered successful training programs using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods.
  • Collaborative Spirit: You thrive in team settings and can build rapport with diverse groups.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Certifications Preferred: While not required, certifications in training, facilitation, or a related field (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) are a bonus!
